2048 Quest: Roguelike Merge ("the Game") is made and published by Vadzim Sharai under the name Felimentix ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the Game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or play the Game.
1. Who owns the Game
Everything in the Game belongs to Vadzim Sharai (Felimentix). That includes the artwork, the maps and scenes, the characters, including the mentor Aurelius, the names, logos, riddles, music, sounds, text, story and the code, together with the way they are combined. This content is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
2. Your license to play
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and play the Game on Android devices you own or control, for your own entertainment and not for any commercial purpose. The Game is licensed, not sold. All rights we do not expressly grant stay with us.
3. What you may not do
Without our written permission, you may not:
- copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, rent, lend or publicly share the Game or any part of its content;
- decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the Game, or try to obtain its source code;
- extract, rip or export art, audio, riddles, text, maps or other assets from the Game or its content downloads;
- mine, scrape or collect data from the Game or its servers by automated means;
- re-upload or republish the Game, in whole or modified, on another app store, website or file host;
- use the Game or its content in another product, service, game or dataset, including for training or fine-tuning machine learning or AI models;
- remove or change any copyright, trademark or ownership notice.
Where the law of your country expressly allows an action despite this section, that law applies to the extent it cannot be excluded.
4. Names and trademarks
"2048 Quest" and "Felimentix" are trade names used by Vadzim Sharai. You may not use them, or anything confusingly similar, for your own products, services or accounts. The Game is an independent work and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the authors of the original 2048 puzzle.
5. Fair play and accounts
You agree not to cheat, use bots, automation, modified clients, memory editors or any tool that changes gameplay or the data the Game sends to our servers. You agree not to tamper with cloud saves, leaderboard entries or scores, and not to use a leaderboard username that is offensive, impersonates someone or contains personal information. If you break these rules we may remove leaderboard entries, reset progress or close the account the Game created for you, without notice or compensation.
The Game creates an anonymous player identity on first launch. How we handle data tied to it is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. The Game and virtual items are provided as is
The Game may contain virtual items such as boons, boosters, currencies, tiles, cosmetics and unlocked content. They have no monetary value, are not your property, cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value outside the Game and cannot be transferred to other players. We may add, change, rebalance or remove them at any time. The current build contains no in-app purchases.
The Game is under development and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that it will be free of errors, available without interruption, work on every device or that progress will never be lost. We may update, change or discontinue the Game or any online feature at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, virtual items or profits, arising from the Game. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Game in the 12 months before the claim, which for a free game is zero. Where a jurisdiction does not allow these limits, they apply to the extent it does.
7. Age
The Game is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled informally will be brought before the competent courts of Georgia, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of the Game after a change means you accept the new terms. Material changes will be announced inside the Game.
